Far West Roundup Guidelines of Conduct

The Far West Roundup is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or whether they’re a greenhorn. We reserve the right to shun smokers to a farther edge of the quad, however. We do not tolerate harassment of anyone in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate in any workshop, cafeteria, group meal, dorm suite, on the quad, off the quad—wherever. Even if you’ve known each other since the Oregon Trail days, suggestive or harassing comments are not okay. The comment was ‘just a joke’? Nope, not funny, partner. Conference participants violating these rules and any other UC Santa Cruz rules may be reprimanded by the Sheriff at best or booted from the conference without refund at the discretion of the Posse.
