Brian founded Trouette Insurance Agency in 1998. Trouette Insurance Agency offers private client risk management services to closely held corporations, individuals, and family offices. His process involves detailed analysis of policies, property, and liability exposure to determine a client’s needs. He works collaboratively with financial advisors, CPAs and attorneys to protect clients—and their wealth.

Don is president of St. Clair Financial, an RIA firm in Northern California and has been practicing financial planning since 1990. He believes financial planning can add demonstrable value and when it is delivered by competent and ethical professionals, that value can be well in excess of adviser compensation. Don sees the exploration of viable alternatives as central to the advisory function. In recent years, Don became a private pilot, discovering in the process a desire to reinvent the way financial planning is practiced at his firm. This presentation reflects much of that thinking.

Jeffrey is Chief Global Investment Strategist at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. He is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and commenting on significant risks and opportunities in the world’s capital markets vital to investment decision-making. Cited by The Wall Street Journal as one of “Wall Street’s Best and Brightest” and known for his keen market insights he is regularly quoted in many national publications, such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and The New York Times.

Mike is editor of Real Assets Adviser and is responsible for the magazine’s editorial content and production. He has been a professional journalist since 1983 and has spent almost his entire career working for business publications. Mike joined IREI in 2012 as editor of Institutional Real Estate Americas. Prior to IREI, he spent 17 years in editor and publishing capacities with American City Business Journals, the nation’s largest publisher of metropolitan business journals Including SF Business Times and East Bay Business Time.

Pam is the Director of Development for the San Francisco Community Foundation. The San Francisco Foundation is an incubator for community investment, original ideas and passionate leadership. The Foundation is committed to advancing racial and economic equity for all residents, and to making the Bay Area the best place it can be. Pam serves as the Foundation’s primary liaison with the legal, financial and wealth advising communities and with prospective donors and families.

Reneé is an Associate Professor at the Sofia University (formerly the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) where she teaches the psychology of finance, leadership, quantitative, and advanced mixed methods research. Dr. Snow has worked as a Certified Financial Planner® for the past 24 years and has combined technical expertise with psychology and philosophy in service to her clients. Dr. Snow has published works in the areas of leadership, behavioral finance, and mindfulness.

Russell founded Paradigm Wealth to help young professionals pursue Wealth and impact the world in a way that is authentic to their unique life experience. A graduate of Virginia Tech’s CFP® program and Yeske Buie’s Residency Program, Russell is currently pursuing an M.S. in Financial Planning and Taxation at Golden Gate University. He has contributed to Money Quotient’s ‘Fundamentals of Financial Life Planning’ training course as a Veteran Licensee, and serves as the Director of Advocacy for the San Francisco FPA chapter, as a Representative of the FPA of California State Council, and as the NexGen Representative for the OneFPA Advisory Group.

Susan is the founder of the Sudden Money® Institute (SMI), a resource center for Life Transitions and Good Decisions. The Institute trains financial advisors and other professionals in Financial Transitions Planning, a unique set of process and tools for managing the human dynamics of financial change. Susan is the author of Sudden Money: Managing a Financial Windfall (Wiley 2000). Her client list includes the National Football League (yes.. the NFL)!

Yusuf holds an MA in Economics from George Mason University and a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business. He joined the Yeske Buie organization in 2009 and has moved up the ranks to Senior Financial Planner. In 2016, Yusuf was named to Investment News’ 40 Under 40 list, which recognizes members of the financial advisory industry who are under 40 years of age and have changed the industry for the better. Yusuf’s focus in working with millennials is to tap into how they can use time as their greatest asset to set themselves up for success as their financial lives unfold.
